Only 500m to Hamburg
Our location combines the proximity and connection to a big city with the peace and space in the surrounding area. This means you avoid crowded streets and means of transport because you always drive against the current to work and home. The public transport stop is only a 7-minute walk away, parking spaces for cars and a protected shelter for bikes are in abundance.
Hybrid work model
We offer a hybrid model of working. In other words, not either-or, but both-as well. In this way, we embrace the changing balance between work and private life and make it possible to save valuable time and resources by reducing traveling between home and office. At the same time, we encourage personal dialog and innovation-promoting exchanges with each other in order to strengthen collaboration across the company.
Working hours and vacation
We have a 40-hour week and a core time between 10am and 4pm. For those who have worked overtime, there is a choice of compensatory time off or payment of hours (with tax-free surcharge).
And for absolute relaxation, you have 30 days of vacation per calendar year at your disposal.
Pleasant workspace
You can expect spacious, light-flooded and open-plan workplaces, ergonomic workstations, well-maintained hardware, well-tended greenery, mineral water, organic fruit, coffee, tea and nerve food. Right next door there are various supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants for your own lunch, or you can cook with colleagues in our fully equipped kitchen.
Further training
In addition to corporate and departmental training, we have a fund for initiatives so that every employee benefits. Depending on your needs, you or your team can participate in suitable training courses, professional conferences, or seminars.
Team events
We host company-wide events such as Xmas parties in Germany to foster team bonding and create enjoyable experiences for all. In addition, there are various interest groups organized by colleagues that meet on an irregular basis.

Our hiring process
Applying for a job is an important decision for the future. To make this step easier for you, our application process is designed to be transparent. Here you can get an initial idea of how we proceed and what you can expect. The process usually comprises five steps, starting with your application and continuing through the interviews to the final decision.

Online application
In addition to a cover letter, your documents should include a curriculum vitae, the last certificate of your university, vocational training or school education as well as relevant job references or proof of internships. Please send us your documents as PDF via email.

Review
First, our HR team will review you application to ensure a good fit. If we are unclear or missing important individual points of your application, we will call or skype you briefly. If you fit the profile we are looking for, your application will be forwarded to the responsible team manager for evaluation.

Initial interview
The first interview will take place quite quickly. You will get to know the HR manager and possibly also the team manager. Find out who we are and why we are looking for you. Introduce yourself, describe your motivation for joining us and your long-term goals. This is where we get to know one another and see if we match.

In-depth interview
As a next step, we might want to arrange a second interview where you can get to know the team, exchange professional information, or perhaps solve a small task. This more in-depth interview will show us how you think and your skills in general. And that‘s it … almost.

Decision
After the interviews, the hiring team will convene to make a final decision. If you are successful, we will contact you immediately to tell you the good news. At this stage, you will get a job offer. Once you officially accept it, we’ll get everything ready to welcome you on your first day as a vjoonee!
Onboarding with vjoon
Our onboarding process is personal and tailored individually to you and your role. Your future supervisor discusses the first steps with you. This includes tools, procedures, the training itself, mutual expectations, and general topics of daily life at vjoon.
Familiarization is based on professional aspects and builds on your existing knowledge. It is important for us that you get to know the company and as many of your colleagues as quickly as possible, including those from other departments. Our goal: We want you to feel like a vjoonee as soon as possible and to be able to start working productively after a short time.
