With approx. 170 visitors, experts, and listeners, the 5th VDZ Tech Summit in Hamburg in November was very well attended and offered interesting workshops and a wide range of topics. The main topics were digitalization and new technological solutions for digital distribution, but as well as the application of artificial intelligence in business processes. Editors and publishers will find it easier to work with new or improved tools.
Companies need to be supported in developing new business models by using new methods and teams. Our partner SNAP Innovation was on the spot and experienced an exciting networking event with experts from management and IT.
Top-class national and international speakers such as Matthew Monahan (Head of Product & Sales Washington Post), Torsten Ahlers (Managing Director Otto Group Media), and Ingo Rübe (CTO Burda Magazine Holding) reported on the changes in the digital world and the growing challenges. They presented successful technology-driven business cases and their practical implementation.
Prof. Dr. Horst Zuse, son of the inventor of the computer, led through a journey through time for IT, from the development of the tape up to a meeting with Steve Jobs.
